MISSIONS & MINISTRY UPDATE: MARCH 8, 2013

Tonight I just got home from a whole day of ministry work and activity down at the Metro Kids Society program center. Tonight was the most powerful Fusion Youth service I've ever had the privilege of leading along with the whole ministry team. We played live action Mario Party, I preached the Word, and then we had a special time of praise & worship to put into practice the message God gave to us tonight. I preached on "Physical Expressions of Praise of Worship" and afterward we had four specially selected songs for us to respond with in worship towards God. It was so powerful! I preached from the scriptures about the holiness of God and that we worship Jesus because He is God and that the seraphim angels have to cover their eyes and feet with their wings because of the glory of God in His throne room. I also preached from the scriptures about standing, singing, shouting, clapping, bowing/kneeling, lifting hands, and falling prostrate on the ground in worship. The Bible is full of teaching on this subject. We must worship God in spirit, truth, holy fear, and respect. There were young people tonight who did things in worshiping God that they had never done before, like lifting their hands, bowing, and clapping! I heard many testimonies of people tonight among our youth and leaders that were totally touched by the Spirit of the Lord. I broke down weeping tears and was kneeling before the Lord during worship because the Holy Spirit welled up on the inside of me concerning the Father's grace in sending His only Son to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and that so many young people in the youth group have never encountered a deep revelation of God's truth, grace, and glory in Christ Jesus. I am trusting God for revival and that we will see more and more young people being saved and discipled at Fusion & Surrey Christian Life Assembly  I have a vision to see the youth group grow tremendously, I don't know how many God will bring in but I know He will give us as many as we can properly shepherd, care for, teach, and love properly. I am so excited to see what God will do in the midst of my church family here in Canada. He is planning mighty things, He is going to do mighty things in our midst!

I was really convicted tonight regarding my own life as I preached the Word and worshiped God. There have been many areas of compromise and lukewarmness in my walk with Jesus that I need to repent of. Please continue to pray for me friends as I grow in the grace of God and stand firm in His armor. I am hungry for the living God, I am hungry to see Him walk and move amongst us here in BC, Canada.    

I will be at the program center again for ConnXion ministry this Saturday afternoon (March 9, 2013). I will be mentoring a friend then leading a prayer group with an encouraging word from the scriptures before the ConnXion service.

I will be preaching at ConnXion (Grades 5-8) this March 16 & April 6. I also just taught the Youth Sunday School Class this past Feb 24. We studied John 1:1-13. I will be teaching the youth the Word of God from The Gospel of John verse by verse till the end of the book throughout the year. I will be teaching the Youth Sunday School Class this March 10 on John 1:14-28.
